Makino Pool

Over the summer we have lived in pools or in the river. This was one of those days that you could fry an egg on the car roof.

Splash Planet

We went to Splash Planet in Hastings for the day. It was so cool. This is Anton and Nyah going down the speed slide. The never ending river was great to just lie in a tube and float around. Connor and Shea and Nyah (peeking out from under her hat) loved that! Perfect day with hot as weather. Also bumper boats, cars, pirate ship and different sized pools.

Ohinepuri Road

Found another waterhole on the river. Kids loved jumping into the water from this log that must have lodged their since the '04 floods. Took the rod but no fish that day.

Shea at Vinegar Hill

Another day on the Rangitikei River. 30mins north of Bulls. Great camping spot and fishing and swimming. Had a great day just hanging out with the tyres and relaxing.

Favourite spot after a day of swimming and touch on the beach.

Connor got his fishing licence this summer and has had some great catches. This one was caught at the back of his mates farm. 3.5pd. Yummy as!

Beulah Baby- The new addition

Antons xmas pressie this year was Beulah. Her on the left and Turk on right. Great mate for Turk. As you can see it does not take long for the animals to take over. Here they both are at the beach after a long day playing cricket and chasing sea gulls.
